Hello friends! The amazing November Release is now available! I have one last card to share with you today featuring the latest stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula.
To start, I first stamped my image onto a 4.5″ x 5.75″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then stamped it again onto a piece of Gina K. Designs Masking Magic Sheets. Next, I fussy cut my image out from the masking sheet and placed it over my image that I had stamped onto my cardstock.
I next blended a green background that I was inspired to create by a recent card done by my friend and super talented cardmaker Nicky Meek. I used a blend of Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, and Pine Needles Distress Inks, starting with my darkest color toward the bottom of my card and blending upward toward my lightest color until fading it out to white. I then splattered this blending with some water using a #4 round paint brush and quickly blotted it dry with a paper towel.
I then splattered it again with diluted opaque white paint as well as diluted green watercolor paint. I set it aside for a few hours to dry completely before coloring it with Copic Markers.
Copic Color Combos Used:
- Bunny: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Penguin: W00, W2, W5, W7
- Reds: R14, R29, R89
- Greens: G0000, G000, G005, G28
- Browns: E41, E42, E43, E44
