Hello friends! This theme for this month’s Outside the Box Challenge is all about creating 3D holiday cards. For my take on the challenge, I combined the Sweet Holiday Penguins and Merry Wishes Stamp Sets both illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Sketch Markers, and used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.

Copic Color Combos Used:
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- Whites: 0, C0, C2, C4
- Greens: G000, G02, G05, G09
- Tree: YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67
- Black: W5, W7, W9

I then used a sheet of Field Green Prestige Card Stock for my card base and diecut it with the Outside the Box Level-Up Die-namics. I blended some green Distress Inks for my background sky (Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, and Cracked Pistachio) and splattered it with diluted opaque white paint and diluted green watercolor paint.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto the front stitched rectangular strip prior to adhering it to the front of my card and then attached my images onto the snow drifts with some liquid adhesive.

Oh Rachel, this is just delightful. I adore how you colored these penguins and brought them to life. In addition that tree looks amazing! I love how your outside the box is literally a box card. So fun and so festive. Thanks so much for sharing and delighting!
