Hello friends! The December Release from My Favorite Things is now available! I have one more project to share with you today using some fun new products from this amazing release!
I created a single-layer card featuring the new Slumbering Sloths Stamp Set. To start, I first trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 3.5″ x 8.5″ and stamped my sloths onto my cardstock where I wanted to place them. I made sure to wipe off any ink off the very edge of each tree branch so that I could extend each branch with a simple piece of masking paper after they were stamped.
Once I stamped each of my sloths where I wanted to place them, I then stamped them all again onto a sheet of Gina K Designs Masking Magic Paper. I fussy cut each one (extending the tree branch one each one as mentioned above) and placed the masking piece over each of my images so that ink would not get onto them when I blended my background sky.
For my background, I blended some Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I lightly splattered this blending with water (to create some added interest) once I was finished and then quickly blotted it dry with a clean paper towel. I then again splattered it with diluted opaque white paint to resemble stars. Once finished, I removed each masking piece and set the entire panel aside to dry.
Lastly, I colored my images with Copic Sketch Markers and heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

- Sloths (face): E50, E51, E53
