Hello friends! This month’s Birthday Project Challenge theme is all about creating birthday cards that have a winter wonderland theme. I combined a few Birdie Brown stamp sets for my take on the sketch. I used images from the Snow Buddies, Sweet Birthday Wishes, and the Happy Hippos on my single-layer card today.

I first stamped some of my images onto a 3.5″ x 8.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then stamped my images again on masking paper and then fussy cut them to help mask the images while stamping again with any images that I wanted to appear behind the first ones. With the masking paper still on, I then blended some Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks for my background. Next, I splattered the background with both diluted opaque white paint as well as some diluted Milled Lavender Distress Ink.

I then removed my masking sheets and then colored all of my images with Copic Markers.
Copic Color Blends Used:
- Teals: G000, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Pinks: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66
- Purples: BV000, BV02, BV13, BV08
- Skin: E0000, E000, E11, E04
- Blues: B0000, B000, B02, B04

I then trimmed my card down to 3 3/8″ x 8 3/8″ and layered it with a 3.5″ x 8.5″ piece of white card stock. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from the BB Bitty Bears Stamp Set onto the top right corner with black ink.
