Hello friends! I have one last holiday card to share with you today that features some adorable pups illustrated by Birdie Brown. I was really excited this year because I finally found the time to send some handmade Christmas cards to some friends and family. Although this card will arrive after Christmas, I figured that it would be appropriate for New Years as well.

To start, I first trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to slightly larger than 3.5″ x 5.5″ so that I could trim off any harsh inked edges once I was finished with my ink blending. I used the BB Happy Pawlidays Stamp Set along with some Gina K Designs Masking Magic Paper to create a one layer card. I also used the masking sheets to mask off an area for the snow that I cut by hand. With my masking pieces still on, I then blended my background with Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks.

I then splattered this area with both diluted opaque white paint as well as diluted green watercolor paint. for added interest. Next, I removed my masking pieces and colored all of my images with Copic Markers once my background was completely dry.
Copic Color Blends Used:
- Brown Dogs: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
- Gray Dog (on left): W00, W0, W2, W4, W6
- Gray Dog (on right): C00, C0, C2, C4, C5
- Dark Greens: BG72, BG75, BG78
- Tree: YG23, YG17, YG67
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- Yellows: Y11, Y13, V12
