Hello friends! I have two cards to share with you today featuring two brand new stamp sets that will be releasing this upcoming Tuesday. For my first card, I used the cute Koala-ty Time Stamp Set combined with the new Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics. I created a box card using the Outside the Box Die-namics along with the Outside the Box Low Profile Add On.

I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out and then set them aside to work on the base of my card. I used a piece of Smooth White Cardstock for my box base and lined it with some patterned paper from the Summertime Polka Dots Paper Pad.

For my purple background sky, I blended some MFT Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, and Blue Yonder Premium Dye Inks. I splattered this blend with both opaque white paint as well as diluted purple watercolor paint for added interest.

Copic Color Blends Used:
- Warm Grays: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Cool Grays: C00, C0, C2, C4
- Reds: R14, R46, R59
- Violets: BV01, BV11, BV13, BV08
- Tree Trunk: E31, E23, E25
- Pinks: RV55, RV66

For my second card, I combined the new Slimline Slider Die-namics along with the new Perfect Couple Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I once again stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. This time, I masked my images to blend in a pink sky with Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.

The Slimline Starter Die-namics is a lot of fun because you can easily slide out your valentine, bookmark, or card. I used some warm brown (E41, E42, E43, E44, E47) Copic Markers to color the bears after I removed my masking piece that I had fussy cut.

Awww…these are both so cute! I’ve never made a display card before but this gives me inspiration to try
Thank you so much, Kristen! When I first started making box cards, I wasn’t sure if I would like making them or not. They’re one of my favorite designs to make now! And the dies now make them SUPER easy. 🙂
Wonderful work, Rachel. I always admire your color choices and the wonderful vibrancy you are able to achieve in your coloring. So sweet and fun is this this box card. Your Valentine card is equally sweet. Thanks very much for sharing.
Thank you, sweet friend! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

I absolutely love the out of the box card, but it’s the Slimline Slide-in card that stole my heart!
