Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge from MFT Stamps! For the first time ever, the sketch depicts a slimline card! However, you do not need to create a slimline card to enter this sketch! Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch or to replace the shapes with images. The goal is to unleash your creativity and have fun!

For my take on the sketch, I used images from the BB Friends With Fins Stamp Set. I stamped all of my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copics, and used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.

Next, I trimmed another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock slightly larger than 3.5″ x 8.5″ and blended it with Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered this blending with water using a size 4 round paint brush as well as both diluted white and blue paints for added texture and interest. Once dry, I then trimmed this piece down to 3.5″ x 8.5″ to get rid of any harsh ink stains on the sides of the cardstock and set it aside.

I then used the new Slimline Slide-In Die-namics to cut a stitched rectangle from white card stock. I diecut some stitched circular windows in this piece using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and then placed my images inside these circles using some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Bitty Hugs & Kisses onto a piece of black card stock and diecut it with one of the Skinny Strips Die-namics.
