Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new Color Challenge from MFT Stamps! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! (One lucky winner will be chosen at random.) You don’t have to use the exact colors shown, but rather use ones that the color palette inspires you to use!

For my take on the challenge, I used the SY “Sweet Shop” Stamp Set to create a one-layer card. I first stamped my image onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped it again onto a piece of Gina K. Designs Masking Magic Sheets and fussy cut a mask to place on top of my original image.

Once my image was covered, I used some purple tape to mask off my floor area and then blended my background with the new Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Ink. With my masking piece still attached, I then splattered this ink blending lightly with both diluted white opaque paint as well as diluted teal watercolor paint.

I then removed my masking piece, allowed my background to dry, and then colored my image with Copic Markers.
Copic Color Blends Used:
- Mice: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Pinks: RV00, RV63, RV55, RV66
- Teals: BG11, BG13, BG49
- Table: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
- Stool: E31, E23, E25
- Cherries: R14, R37
- Butter: Y21
- Cupcakes: Y21, Y23, E34
