Hello friends! We have a brand new color challenge starting today from MFT Stamps! The colors for challenge #161 are Fire Coral, Butterscotch, Caribbean Sea, and Eiffel Tower. You don’t have to use the EXACT colors shown but rather ones that these colors inspire you to use!

For my take on the challenge, I colored a fun image from the BB Picture Perfect Party Animals Stamp Set. I stamped this image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and used Copic Markers to color it. I then trimmed around the edges (about .25″ from the edge of the stamp) to cut out my image once I was finished coloring it. Then I used the Square Peek-a-Boo Die-namics to add a stitched frame window around my image.

For my main background, I cut a piece of Summer Splash Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and stamped it with the Splotchy Dots Background Die using Tropical Teal Ink. I then trimmed it down to 4.0″ x 5.25″, diecut a square window using the Stitched Square Die-namics, and placed it over my 4.25″ x 5.5″ white card base.

Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! One lucky winner will be chosen at random. Head on over to the MFT Blog for more challenge inspiration as well as the link to enter your creations!

Oh golly, this is so fun! I adore that image. And you have colored it wonderfully with the inspiration colors. I like the use of the frame, too. Lots of fun details on this card. Thanks so much for sharing, Rachel. Makes me smile. 🙂
Thank you kindly, sweet friend! Sending hugs!
What copics did you use for the giraffe? Beautiful card!
Thank you, Joan! I used E44, E42, E40, and then a little bit of Y35 to add some more yellow into the mix. :0)
Thank you! I really admire your talent!
