Hello friends! There are only 4 days left until the latest release from MFT Stamps becomes available! My card today features the “Hugs Make Everything Better” Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

This set is packed with so many adorable images! I stamped all of my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.

For quick reference, here’s a list of all the Copic colors that I used. It may look like a lot of colors, but if you look closely, you’ll see that many of the colors are repeats for different parts of each image. When coloring a set, I usually try to coordinate the colors that I use so that they go well together on the same card.

I ended up using only a few of the images on my card today but I love how the color of the foxes contrasts with the colors of the base of my card. For my card base, I used a piece of the new Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad that I had trimmed to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and adhered it with double sided tape runner to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ A2 top folding card base. I then layered it with both some white and Blue Yonder Prestige Card Stock. My first white layer measures 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″, my blue layer measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″, and my last layer (which has the ink blending) was diecut using one of the Stitched A2 Rectangle STAX Die-namics Set 2.

For my ink-blended portion, I had cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock (prior to diecutting it with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics) and lightly blended the top section with some Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink. I then splattered it with both water and diluted Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink.

For my second set of projects today, I made some generic box cards using each of the Outside the Box base Die-namics (listed below) and combined them with the new Box Card Bouquet Die-namics. How fun are these little bouquets of flowers!? They’re perfect for sending Mother’s Day Cards as well as just an everyday bouquet for any occasion that you can send to a friend! I showed a few examples where you can really dress them up and make the bouquet rather large, or where you can keep it fairly simple.
If you notice, I also used the new Drop-In Sentiment Strips Die-namics on the Shadow Box Card above. These are a perfect way to add more color and style to your card and let your sentiment be seen on the top section of the box card instead of the bottom.
Lastly, here’s some quick examples of the new Shadow Box Swag Die-namics and the Box Card Greetings Die-namics. The Shadow Box Swag (inner box card banners) are perfect for adding more dimension and fun to your shadow box cards. The Box Card Greetings create another way of adding 3D sentiments to your box cards.

I love that you added your Copic color combinations for your critters! Thanks so much for that and for the beautiful inspiration. Love the box card idea too.
Thank you so very much for your sweet comments, dear Lynn! 💕
Great coloring and adorable cards!!!
Thank you so much, Renae! ❤️
My heart is happier when I see a new post from you… these critters are too adorable in this set. Great coloring! I also am loving the new additions for box cards… can’t wait. My older sister has a bday in June and she would be so enchanted by a box card for her special day.
Thank you kindly, dear Anne! 🥰 You can never go wrong sending a box card! I love the new additions to the box card family too. It’s such a great way to stretch the dies you already own! ❤️
I love the blue backing for the lovely foxes. Blue is my favorite color 💙, but I believe it is the contrast with the Rusty red foxes that really makes that blue so pretty. The box cards look like a florist shop! So pretty.
You are so sweet, Janice, thank you! 🥰
Such a cute card. Wow, I love all those colored critters, tree stump and greenery. Thanks for sharing! Okay, those flower boxes are awesome. I would love to make those to take to my local assisted living home. Everyone needs a little cheering up!
That’s such a great idea, Joan! I’m sure they would love that! 🥰❤️
Beautiful card, Rachel. I love the softer colors in the background. Maybe the color is like a periwinkle? So vwerypretty. And it sure helps your sweet hugging foxes stand out. Thanks for sharing your Copic combos. It really helps me who has a hard time with figuring out colors to use. And oh my goodness, your box cards are fantastic! What a beautiful display! I love the thought of Joan, the previous comment to mine….making them to give to seniors is a fabulous idea! 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing Rachel.
The color IS like a periwinkle, isn’t it? 😍 Thank you so very much for your sweet comments! ❤️ And I love Joan’s idea too! The box card bouquets look even better in person and would be sure to cheer anyone up! (Plus, paper flowers are low maintanence lol).
Love your coloring. Great ideas on the box cards.
Thank you so very much, Laura! 🥰
