Hello friends! There are only two days left until the April Release becomes available! I have a fun way to show you how to stretch your Shadow Box Die-namics (if you own this set) today. To start, I first diecut the two sides of my box card from white card stock using the Shadow Box Die-namics. Next, I trimmed each side down (on the long side) by 3/4″ so that my box would be a perfect square.

I then used the Inside & Out Stitched Circle Die-namics to diecut a stitched circle in the front center portion of my box instead of using the rectangular die that comes with the set. That’s the cool thing about shadow box cards, you can use pretty much whatever shape you want for the front window. Most of us have many basic shaped dies at home and this allows for more versatility when creating with this set.

Next, I stamped my sweet little image from the Tweet Memories Stamp Set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used my Copic Markers to color it. Prior to adhering the sides of my box together, I then stamped my sentiment onto the front bottom portion of my card. I added a top shelf inside the card from which to hang my image with two strips of clear acetate. Lastly, I diecut some leaves from the new Box Card Bouquet Die-namics and added them (with liquid adhesive) around the opening of my card window to provide more interest.
Copic Colors Used:
- Birds: B0000, B00, B02
- Beaks: YR07
- Browns: E23, E29
- Greens: G40, G43, G46
