Hello crafty friends! I hope you have been enjoying all of the amazing products from the April Release Countdown the past few days! I have another fun set to share with you today featuring some sweet little bears and bunnies. I colored images from the “Sprinkling You with Love” Stamp Set and created a fun little box card. Honestly, you can never go wrong with a box card. They are so much fun to create as well as receive!
I first stamped all of my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out. I didn’t color every image from the set and I ended up not using every single image above that I had colored. I usually like having options when I’m creating and sometimes tend to color more images than necessary. Any extras, I place into an Ikea bin (with lid) and store for later use on future projects if possible.
Next, I used some Cornflower Prestige Card Stock to create my base. I used both the Outside the Box and Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics to create a quick and easy box base, and then quickly diecut some cloud inserts using the Outside the Box Clouds Die-namics that I cut from white card stock. For my background sky, I blended some Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides and splattered it with water to somewhat resemble a rainy sky.
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto the stitched front strip and adhered it to my card base. I also adhered my images with some liquid adhesive as well as clear acetate for the floating pieces. I absolutely LOVE that little bear holding the umbrella! I wanted his sweet image to be the focal point with the other images floating in the near vicinity.
