Hello friends! Welcome to a brand new Slimline Challenge from MFT Stamps! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! One luck winner will be chosen at random. You can upload your creations HERE via the MFT Blog.

I stamped all of my images from the “Tweet Friends” Stamp Set onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used their coordinating die-namics to cut them out. I ended up not using the mushrooms that I colored but I wanted to include them in the chart above anyway.

I trimmed another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 3.5″ x 8.5″ and blended an area for my background sky with Squeezed Lemonade, Tattered Rose, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered this area with both diluted opaque white paint and diluted Worn Lipstick Distress Ink for added interest. For my grass area, I used the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics with some white card stock. I blended my grass with Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink and once again added a few ink splatters. To line everything up, I used the Slimline Starter Die-namics to cut both my grass and my background. I adhered these pieces to both a white and yellow card stock layer and stamped my sentiment with Black Ink onto the top right corner of my card.

Lastly, I added my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.

Delightful card, Rachel. Those birds are lovely in teal and I can just about hear them singing. Love the colors you chose for them and for the ink blended background. Fun sentiment, too. 😉 All around fun card in a fun new size. 🙂
Thank you so much, sweet Jeanne! I appreciate all of your lovely comments! 💖
The one thing that says Spring is all the singing birds… I have loads including bluebirds! They sing a very sweet song. Love the coloring Rachel and that slimline grass die is one I recently purchased. Great Job!
Thank you so very much, dear Anne! ❤️
