Here’s a look at this week’s sketch layout. For my take on the sketch, I rotated the image and created a one-layer card featuring one of the cute pirates from the BB Party Like a Pirate Stamp Set. I began with a 4.75″ x 4.75″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and masked my pirate image by stamping it a second time onto a sheet of Gina K Designs Masking Magic Sheets and fussy cutting it out with a pair of scissors. I also masked the area for the sun by die-cutting a circle from masking paper.

I used the cloud stencil to blend some puffy white clouds in the background using the Cloud Stencil. I also blended the ocean with both Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. I used Copic Markers to color my images and lastly stamped my sentiment onto the lower right corner of my card.

• Whites/Grays: 0, C00, C1, C3
• Black: W5, W7, W9
• Sun: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
• Sand: E30, E31, E34, E25
