Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 3 of the Pretty Pink Posh May 2021 Release Blog Hop! I have a few cards to share with you today using some fun products from this beautiful release. ** Affiliated links used where applicable at no extra cost to you. **

For my first project, I created an A2 sized box card (which measures 4.25″ x 5.5″ when folded flat) featuring the new “Nautical” Stamp Set. I have always loved all things nautical, so I had a lot of fun creating this 3D card. To start, I first stamped all of my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Nautical Dies to cut them out. For the box portion of my card, I used one sheet of white card stock, a paper trimmer, scoring board, scissors, and liquid adhesive.

I added some waves to the inside portion of my card by first die-cutting each wave from white card stock using the wave shaped die from the “Stacked Edges” Die Set. I then blended each wave with a mix of Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. For my card background, I blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a small portion of paper and adhered it with liquid adhesive to my card base.
Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R05, R35, R39, R89
- Blues: B21, B24, B37
- Whites: 0, W00, W1, W3

For my second card, I used the new and beautiful “Flower Bouquets” Stamp Set. I also combined it with the new “Mini Polka Dots” Stencil for some added interest. I love how subtle yet striking these polka dots are! I first trimmed a piece of teal card stock to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and blended the Mini Polka Dots Stencil on top of it with some Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. Next, I added a gorgeous scalloped circle using the Scallop Circles Dies and then added my image to the center of this circle using some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape.

I colored my image with Copic Markers and used the coordinating “Flower Bouquets” Die Set to easily cut it out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Blues: B0000, B00, B01, B04, B06
- Pinks: RV00, RV55, RV66, RV69
- Greens: YG01, YG07, YG17, YG67
- Teals: BG11, BG13
- Purples: V01, V15, V17
- Yellows: Y13, Y15
- Grays: C00, C1, C3

Lastly, I created a silhouette style card using both the “4th of July” and “Nautical” Stamp Sets. To get the silhouette from my boat, I simply stamped it and then colored it in with a black Copic marker. I did some masking with some Gina K. Designs Masking Magic Sheets to make it look like the boat was sitting behind the wave.

I blended my background with a mix of Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I tend to use Distress Inks rather than Oxides when I want my background to be more vibrant and bold. Once my background was dry, I then heat embossed both my sentiment and fireworks with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I added a scalloped frame around the outer edge of my card that I had cut from white card stock using the “Scallop Frame Dies”.
