Hello friends! We’re halfway through the June Release Countdown and still have many more cute products to share with you! My card today features the latest set illustrated by Stacey Yacula called Spa Day.

These sweet images are so much fun to color! I stamped mine onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. This is usually my “go-to” choice of card stock when using Copic Markers because it doesn’t bleed easily and holds color well. I colored my images with Copic Markers and then used the coordinating “Spa Day” Die-namics to cut them out.

I adhered these images to a simple background that I had lightly blended with both Summer Splash and Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Inks. I masked around this blended area with post-it notes and then splattered it with both water and diluted white acrylic paint and Caribbean Sea Ink for added interest.

Copic Colors Used:
- Light Aqua: G0000, G00, BG34, W3
- Dark Teal: G000, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Bunny: 0, C00, C1, C3
- Bath Tub: 0, W00, W1, W3
- Tub Legs and Shower: W3, W5, W7
- Rubber Ducky: Y13, Y15, V12

This is an adorable card, Rachel. Love it!
Thank you so much, Lori!
You have used my favorite color of blue. I just adore it. What I would like to know is how you made the bubbles in the tub appear iridescent.
Thanks so much, Janice! It’s my favorite color of blue too! 😁 As for the bubbles, I loosely colored them with light pink, teal, purple, and yellow Copic Markers and then went over each one with a colorless blender. No technique but just quick and easy coloring lol.
Ahhhh, what a lovely card, Rachel. I can just feel the tension melting away in that luxurious bubble bath. Look at those bubbles! Wonderful, wonderful coloring, my friend. Thanks so much for sharing.
Yes, it does look rather relaxing! Now of days, if I even attempted to take a bath, my kids would be pounding on the door to make sure that I was okay or asking me to get them something. 😂 Thank you for your lovely comments, my friend!
I really like the splatters, great addition to your card.
