Hello friends! The MFT Stamps June Release will be available tomorrow, June 8th, at 10AM EST! I created a fun slimline shaker card to share with you today that features the new “Beach Bear” Stamp Set.
To start my card, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used Copic Markers to color them and then cut them out with the coordinating “Beach Bear” Die-namics. For the base of my card, I used both the Slimline Starter Die-namics as well as the Slimline Stitched Trio Square Dies. I used both of these dies to cut my windowed piece from some Smooth White Card Stock and then added a square shaker pouch behind each window.
For my beach scene inside of each square, I used the negative pieces that were cut out when I cut out my triple window portion. I lightly blended the top of each square with Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink and then used the Drifts & Hills Stencil along with some Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Inks for the sand. I lightly splattered both the sand and the sky with diluted opaque white paint and used a dark brown Copic Marker to add some textured dots to the sandy areas. I then added a few 3mm clear sequins on top of each square (which I had lined up and attached to my base Kraft piece) and then adhered my windowed piece on top of everything to keep my sequins in place.

- Top & Middle Bear: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Bottom Bear: E70, E71, E74, E77
- Dark Teals: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG79
- Light Teal: G000, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Crab: R05, R35, R39

Nice idea for a shaker card. I might steal it. My 4 yo grandson is so excited to go to the beach ⛱ in August, but is having a hard time waiting. Maybe a few cards like yours would make the time go by faster.
