Hello friends! The gorgeous Magnolia Blossoms Card Kit is now available! This kit will be available in limited quantities at 20% off regular retail price. If you only want portions of the kit, you are also able to purchase each item separately at regular retail price.

I struggle coloring flowers but these magnolia blossoms are so large and easy to color! I created a card today that was inspired by a card previously made by the talented Caly Person. I went with a similar layout as Caly but used different colors.

To start, I trimmed a piece of Sno Cone Card Stock to 4.5″ x 5.5″ and blended it lightly with Caribbean Sea, Summer Splash, and Sno Cone Inks. I started at the lower left corner of the paper with my darkest color and worked my way up toward the top with my lighter inks. I then masked off the top right corner of my card (for my sentiment) and lightly splattered this piece with diluted white acrylic paint as well as diluted blue watercolor paint for added interest. Once dry, I then trimmed this piece down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and layered it with a top folding, vertical A2 sized card base (4.25″ x 11″ and scored at 5.5″ on the long side).

I stamped my flowers onto a piece of Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper (included in the kit) and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to loosely watercolor them. Once dry, I then used the coordinating Magnolia Blossoms Die-namics to cut them out. After stamping my sentiment onto the top right corner of my card, I then added my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.
