Hello friends! Welcome back to the second day of the MFT June Vault Release Countdown! There are only three days left until this release becomes available. I have a one-layer slimline card today featuring both The Whole Herd and Green Pastures Stamp Sets.

I first stamped my images onto a piece of 3.5″ x 8.5″ scrap paper. I didn’t mask anything but just stamped items where I wanted to place them in my final card. I then cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock and re-stamped my images using my MISTI (this time using some masking paper to cover certain images as I went in order to provide depth while still being one layer). Once I was done stamping, I masked every image so that I could blend both my sky and the grass area with ink. I used MFT Lazy Day Premium Dye Ink for my sky and Field Day Premium Dye Ink for my grass. When blending the grass area, I used the Slimline Grassy Edges Stencil. Once dry, I used some green Copics to add a bit of texture to the grass.

I then removed all of my masking pieces and allowed my card to dry completely before coloring it. I used Copic Markers for all of my images. Lastly, I trimmed my piece down to 3.25″ x 8.25″ and layered it with both Field Day and Kraft Prestige Card Stock.

Thank you for your sweet words, Christine! 🥰
The way you have combined the characters and accessories is awesome. I love the farmgirl holding the milkcan and the chicken sitting on the haystack.
You are so sweet, Janice, thank you! 💖
Excellent card, Rachel. What a great little scene. And it’s colored beautifully. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

Thanks so much, Sandra! Happy to help! 🥰
The whole herd is just overflowing with birthday wishes. I like that you added the milk can to her hand to convey it was time to eat cake; because you have to have milk with cake! 🙂 Super cute and wonderful coloring.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave such sweet words! I appreciate it! 🤗
