Hello friends! It’s time to start the countdown for the newest MFT Release! My card today features the adorable “Double Scoop of Cute” Stamp Set. To start my card, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers (my go-to coloring medium), and cut them out with the coordinating “Double Scoop of Cute” Die-namics.
I then set these two images aside so that I could create the base of my card. I first trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 11″ and scored it on the long side at 5.5″ to create a top-folding vertical A2 card base. I then trimmed a piece of pink gingham patterned paper to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and adhered it to the front part of my top-folding card base. Next, I diecut some Smooth White Card Stock using the new (and gorgeous) A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I love how elegant these double rows of stitching look! Next, I lightly blended this piece with both some Princess Pink and Cotton Candy Premium Dye Inks. I added some splatters with both some diluted opaque white acrylic paint and pink watercolor paint for some added interest. Next I stamped my sentiment and layered this piece with a piece of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock.
I then adhered this piece to my card base with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension. Lastly, I added my images with more 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to the front of my card.
