Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge! Come have fun and play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! One lucky winner will be chosen at random. I created two simple cards today for my take on this week’s sketch.

For my first card, I used the adorable “Sweetheart” Stamp Set illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller. For both of my cards today, all of my images were stamped onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out with their coordinating dies.

For my background, I layered a top-folding A2 card base with some light blue patterned paper from the Petite Gingham Paper Pad. I then followed the sketch and added some strips of both Sno Cone and Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock. I adhered them with some double-sided tape and then trimmed any excess using my paper trimmer. Next, I diecut a stitched white circle using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock and adhered my image with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.

I created my second card in a similar fashion but this time, I used images from the TI Flutterby Friends Stamp Set. All products used can be found at the bottom of this post!

Oh my, these are wonderful, Rachel. The images are just delightful and colored beautifully. The sketch looks like a great one to highlight sweet scenes like these. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
Thank you so very much, sweet Jeanne! I appreciate your lovely comments! 🥰
Bluebirds are a favorite of mine…my neighbor has boxes along the perimeter of his acreage so we have an abundance of them. Always a great sign in the Spring. These guys are so adorable. Love that gingham behind them it highlights their color so well. RAM is such a great illustrator/designer!
You are so sweet, Anne, thank you! I love Bluebirds too! Sadly, we don’t have many where I live. And I agree, Rachelle Anne Miller is a wonderful illustrator! 🤗💖
These are such gorgeous cards, Rachel😍
Very sweet cards Rachel 🥰 I love gingham, you can’t really go wrong with it can you? I love your blog!
