Hello friends! Welcome to the newest Outside the Box Challenge! It’s MFT’s birthday month, so this challenge is all about creating birthday box cards! If you’ve never tried making a box card, the entire MFT Outside the Box line makes it SUPER easy!

I created a fun birthday box card featuring the adorable pigs from the BB Hog Heaven Stamp Set. I first created my card base by die cutting some white card stock using both the Outside the Box and Outside the Box Level-Up Die-namics. I next layered these pieces with some teal patterned paper from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad. Prior to adhering it, I stamped my sentiment onto my front piece of patterned paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Next, I diecut some grassy hills from Sour Apple Prestige Card Stock using the Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics. I blended each hill lightly with both Sour Apple and Field Green Premium Dye Inks and then lightly splattered them with diluted opaque white acrylic paint for added interest.

I colored all of my images with Copic alcohol markers. I added a balloon from the BB Birthday Bears Stamp set and a banner from the new Bunch of Happiness Stamp Set.
Copic Colors Used:
- Pigs: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13
- Reds: R05, R35, R39
- Pinks: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66
- Yellows: Y13, Y15, V12
- Teals: G000, BG11, BG13, BG18
- Greens: YG01, YG06, YG17, YG67
