Hello friends! It’s the final day of the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown! I hope you have been enjoying all of the inspiration from the rest of the team over the past few days! For my project today, I have a mini slimline card that features the new “Celebrating You” Stamp Set illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller.

I stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating “Celebrating You” Die-namics to cut them out. For my card background, I trimmed another piece of white card stock to slightly smaller than 3″ x 6″ and lightly blended it with both Blue Yonder and Lazy Day MFT Premium Dye Ink. I started with my darker color at the top of this panel and gradually blended downward toward my lighter color until fading away to white. I splattered this ink blended area with both water and diluted white and Blue Yonder Inks.

I then trimmed this piece down to 2.5″ x 5.5″ when dry and layered it with both some Smooth White Card Stock as well as a piece of 3″ x 6″ patterned paper. To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and added my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for extra dimension.

• Blues: B21, B24, B37
