Hello friends! Have you seen the latest Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders? This new die set is called “Just a Tweet” and it makes the cutest diecut cards! I used this set to create a teal, blue, and white card today. There was no stamping involved. Just some basic die cutting and glueing the pieces together.

To give some added interest, I did some ink blending on my card base. To do this, I diecut a light blue piece of colored card stock to slightly larger than 4.25″ x 5.5″. I then blended some blue/teal Distress Inks starting with my darkest color in the lower right corner and moving toward the top left portion of my card to the lightest ink color. For this, I used a blended of Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.

Once this was dried and finished, I then trimmed my card down to 4.25″ X 5.5″ to get rid of any dark ink blotches on the sides of my card stock and I adhered my white vine pieces that I had diecut with liquid adhesive. For the flowers, leaves, and bird, I used some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension. Super easy and fun!

This is a lovely card, Rachel. What a fun way to showcase the kit. I really like how you inkblended the background to give the focal images something to bounce off of. You have a wonderful way with color. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
