Hello friends! For Day 4 of the MFT September Release Countdown, I have a festive one-layer Christmas card to share with you using the new “Paw La La La La” Stamp Set. To start my card, I trimmed a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and stamped my image onto the center of it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped my image again onto a piece of Gina K. Designs Masking Magic Sheets and fussy cut it out. I then placed this masking piece on top of my stamped image on my card so that I could cover it while ink blending. Prior to blending my background sky, I cut a snow drift by hand from another piece of masking paper and covered the bottom portion of my card.

Next, I lightly blended my background with Summer Splash and Sno Cone Premium Dye Inks and splattered this area with some diluted white acrylic paint to resemble snow. Once this was finished, I then removed my masking piece and colored my images and snow area with Copic Markers.

So pretty! Love the background too! x Madeleine Hedin aka Scrapkonst
You are so sweet, Madeleine, thank you! 🤗
Oh my, this is just adorable, Rachel. First of all such a fun image. Look at all those sweet critter faces. 🙂 And your take on a one layer card is terrific. The background looks amazing. Your coloring is just wonderful. Each critter has their own personality. Wonderful work, my friend. 🙂
Thank you kindly, sweet friend! Sending hugs! ❤️
