Hello crafty friends! I have a fun stamp set to share with you for Day 3 of the MFT Stamps September Release Countdown! We’re halfway through the countdown and we still have a lot of cute new products to share with you!
I created a festive Christmas slimline card featuring the new Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set. I don’t know about you, but these cute little gnomes remind me of the cute little M&M characters that you sometimes see on commercials during the holidays lol. I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating Gnome for the Holiday Die-namics to cut them out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- Greens: YG01, YG07, YG17, YG67
- White: 0, C00, C1, C3
- Arms & Legs: W5, W7
- Noses: E000, E11
For my card background, I trimmed another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 3.5″ x 8.5″ and blended a section of it with Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks. I covered the top portion of my card with a piece of scrap paper and lightly splattered the ink blended portion with some diluted Opaque White Paint to resemble snow. Once dry, I then diecut this piece with the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle Die-namics.
Next, I cut another piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 8.5″ X 2″. I diecut the top portion of this piece with the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics. Once finished, I diecut this piece again with the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle Die-namics so that the base of my snow drift would match with the base of my ink-blended piece. I stamped my sentiment onto my snow drift with black ink prio to adhering it to my card base with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. I then layered my entire base piece with a 3.5″ x 8.5″ piece of Field Day Prestige Card Stock. Lastly, I added my images with more 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for lots of dimension.
