Welcome to MFT Color Challenge 173! The colors for this challenge are Eiffel Tower, Amarena Cherry, Jalapeño Popper, and Caribbean Sea. You don’t have to use the exact colors shown but rather ones that these colors inspire you to use.

For my take on the challenge, I used the BB Holiday Penguins Stamp Set. I colored all of my images with Copic Markers after stamping them onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I cut them out using the coordinating BB Holiday Penguins Die-namics.

To create the illusion of a snowy sky, I blended some Tropical Teal, Caribbean Sea, and Summer Splash Premium Dye Inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Smooth White Card Stock. Once dry, I trim this piece down to 4″ x 5.25″ and add some splatters of diluted white paint using a size 4 round paint brush. I then added a framed layer of white snowy hills that I had diecut using the Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics. Prior to adhering this piece, I fussy cut away the top few layers of snow to allow room for my sky and stamped my sentiment. Once my frame was attached, I then added the negative snowy pieces with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for some extra dimension.

Next, I layered this entire piece with a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Caribbean Sea Prestige Card Stock. Lastly, I added my images with more 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for even more dimension.
Copic Colors Used:
