Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge! Take a look at this week’s layout below. You don’t have to follow the sketch exactly but can flip, rotate, or even replace the shapes with images. The goal is to have fun!

For my take on the sketch, I used the Frost-Loving Friends Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I trimmed my white base to 3.25″ x 8.25″ and layered it with a 3.5″ x 8.5″ piece of Caribbean Sea Prestige Card Stock. I added two strips of Summer Splash Card Stock to follow the strips on the sketch. For my top strip, I used the Snowfall Stencil along with some White Textured Crackle Paste to add some snowflakes as well as extra interest.

I stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. Once finished, I then cut them out using their coordinating die-namics.
Copic Colors Used:
- Bunny: W0, W1, W3, W5
- Penguin: W0, W1, W3, W5, W7
- Tree Stump: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49

I stamped my sentiment on my bottom strip with black ink and adhered both strips to my card with double-sided adhesive. Lastly, I added my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for extra dimension.

This is an adorably sweet little scene, Rachel. Great sketch. Your coloring is always wonderful. I feel like I could squeeze those little guys. Only they’d run away from the crazy person. LOL Thanks for sharing. 🙂
