Hello crafty friends! The Holiday Snow Globe Card Kit is now available! You can grab yours over at the MFT Boutique (links below) while supplies last!

I have two more cards to share with you today featuring items from this adorable kit! My first project is a one-layer mini slimline card that features the cute images from the Snow Globe Singles Stamp Set that is included in the kit. I stamped and then masked them onto a 3.5″ x 6.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black In. Next, I masked off an area on the bottom of my card for my snowy ground. Once I had all of my masking pieces in place, I then blended my wintry background with some MFT Premium Dye Inks (Beyond Blue, Tropical Teal, Summer Splash, and Lazy Day).

Next, I used a size 4 round paint brush (nothing fancy!) and splattered some diluted opaque white acrylic paint onto of my panel (with the masks still in place) to resemble snow. I then removed my masking pieces and allowed my panel to dry for a few minutes. Once dry, I then trimmed my panel down to 3.25″ x 6.25″ and layered it with both a piece of Smooth White Card Stock as well as some Caribbean Sea Prestige Card Stock. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and then colored my images with Copic alcohol markers.

Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- Greens: YG01, G43, G46
- Black: W5, W7
- Sloth: E41, E42, E43, E44, E51, E53
- Bear: W00, W1, W3
- Snow: B0000, B000, B02

For my second project, I made a simple snow globe shaker card using the Snow Globe Accessories Die-namics along with the Holly Jolly Patterned Paper that comes with the kit. I used a blend both Blue Beyond and Lazy Day Premium Dye Inks for my background.

In case you missed them, here are the other projects that I made using this adorable kit! Simply click on either photo below for more details.

Wonderfully snowy cards, Rachel. I’m always so impressed with your single layer cards. There is so much detail and depth. Your coloring is always fantastic, too. Your snowglobe card is a great showcase as well for your talents. I like the bright bold color combinations you used on these cards. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
This is a good kit… the problem is every company has great stuff releasing right now… it is very difficult to decide and I don’t want to go back to work to be able to get everything I see!!! Love the snow globe and it really looks magical. Great colors too! TFS
