Hello crafty friends! I am thrilled to be collaborating this month with Reverse Confetti and their beautiful September release. I’ve made three projects to share with you!
For my first card, I used the gorgeous new Fall Flowers Stamp Set combined with the Large Detailed Circle Frame Confetti Cuts. To start, I first stamped my floral images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink using my MISTI. I then colored my images with Copic alcohol markers (colors listed below) and next used the coordinating Fall Flowers Die Set to cut them out.
Next, I trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb Card Stock to slightly larger than 4.25″ x 5.5″ and used an ink blender brush to lightly blend the top left corner with some Samba Ink by Catherine Pooler. I then covered the rest of my card with some scraps of card stock and splattered my ink-blended area with some diluted opaque white paint as well as some diluted brown watercolor paint for added interest. I also did the same to my floral images to give them some texture. Once dry, I then trimmed my piece down to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and used a round corner punch on two of the corners.
Next, I die-cut 3 detailed circle frames from white card stock using the Large Detailed Circle Frame Confetti Cuts and glued them together. After I stamped my sentiment onto my card base, I adhered the circle to the center of my card and added my floral images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for extra dimension. Lastly, I added some Clear Enamel Drops to finish off my card.
Copic Colors Used:
- Oranges: YR02, YR07, YR27
- Sunflowers: Y21, E31, E33, E35
- Flower Center: E44, E47
- Greens: G40, G43, G46, G99
- Red Leaves: R05, R35, R39
- Red Berries: R14, R46, R59
- Acorns: E41, E42, E43, E44
- Purples: V20, V22, V25
For my second card, I created a simple Christmas card featuring the new All Line Up Cover Panel Confetti Cuts along with the adorable Yuletide Mice Stamp Set. To create my card base, I die cut my lined cover panel three times from three different colored card stocks (white, green, and red). I then adhered them with glue, overlapping them (white first, green second, and red third) so that each color peaked through. Once dry, I trimmed off any card stock excess from the side.
I then added some various sized strips of colored card stock onto my base and heat embossed my sentiment onto the top green strip with clear VersaMark Ink and Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I then stamped my cute little image onto a strip of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and quickly colored it with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut my image out and then adhered it to my card with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. I always love adding dimension to these type of cards.
Copic Colors Used:
- Greens: YG01, G43, G46
- Mouse: W00, W1, W3, W5
- Yellows: Y11, Y15, V12
- Cheeks & Inner Ears: R20, R81
Lastly, I created a fun Halloween-themed card featuring the new Boo Day Stamp Set along with both the Hello Holidays 6×6 Paper Pad and Layered Boo Confetti Cuts. I used some of the fun patterned paper from the Hello Holidays Paper Pad for my 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base and layered the front portion of my card with black, purple, and white colored card stock. I used my ink blender brushes to quickly add some color to my front card piece using some Distress Oxide Inks (colors listed below). I started with my darkest color up top and moved to my lightest color, gradually fading to white.
I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto another strip of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I once again heat embossed my sentiment using clear VersaMark Ink as well as Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I added all of my images with more foam adhesive tape for lots of dimension.
