I created two cards to share with you today that showcase products from the latest release. For my first card, I created a fun little box card that features the Deer to Me Stamp Set. I colored my images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Deer to Me Die Set to cut them out. I created the base of my card using some green card stock, a paper trimmer, scoring board, and some adhesive. For my background, I blended a mix of Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.
I added some grass that I had cut from green card stock using the Grassy Lass Border Dies. I also added a few leafless trees by using the branch die from the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree Die Set. Lastly, I added some falling leaves that I had colored from the Nuts About You Stamp Set and adhered them with clear pieces of acetate to look like they’re blowing in the wind.
When folded flat, this card fits perfectly into a standard A2 sized envelope!
For my next card, I made a one-layered slimline card that showcases the cute critters from the Nuts About You Stamp Set. I used some Gina K Designs Masking Magic Paper to mask my images after stamping them so that I could ink blend my background with some Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Wild Honey, and Mustard Seed.)
Once my background was blended, I then splattered it with some diluted opaque white paint as well as some diluted sepia watercolor paint for added interest. All of my images were colored with Copic Markers. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment with Black Ink and layered my card with a piece of 3.25″ x 8.25″ piece of White Card Stock and a 3.5″ x 8.5″ piece of bright pink card stock.

Dear Rachel – WOW, WOW, WOW, do I love that first card!! The choice of magenta for the background is unexpected but packs a visual pa-POW! It’s GORGEOUS! Love the little deer scene. The slimline card is also cute and I like the color gradation, but that first one really stole my heart!

Darling cards! I love the interactive pop out of the box card from the envelope. This is really pretty, hmmm a pink sky, I love it. Then That background is gorgeous! The masking is so perfect and the images have such a crisp pop from it. Love these cards!
