Hello friends! I have some exciting news! Today begins the last vault release countdown of all Birdie Brown illustrations! Come this Tuesday, October 26th, at 10AM EST, ALL Birdie Brown products will be available to purchase on the MFT website. If you’ve been looking to complete your collection, now is the time!

I created a simple card today that features the sweet little girl from the “Adventure is Calling” Stamp Set. For the base of my card, I simply layered a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of white card stock with some patterned paper from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad. I then added a stitched rectangle that I had cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Set 2. Prior to adhering this piece, I had lightly blended some Grapesicle and Grape Jelly MFT Premium Dye Inks into the center of this panel to add some interest to my card. I also lightly splattered this area with diluted opaque white paint.

Next, I stamped my sentiment and then adhered this piece to my card base with some adhesive foam for added dimension. I then stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out. Lastly, I adhered them to my card with some 3D Adhesive Foam Tape for even more dimension. It’s subtle, but I always feel that the extra dimension really helps the images to pop from the card base.

Copic Colors Used:
- Suitcase: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
- Bunny: 0, W00, W1, W3
- Purples: BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08

Absolutely adorable! You do purples so beautifully! I feel like they can be tricky to work with and you nailed it. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
You are so sweet, Jeanne, thank you! And you’re correct! Purples are tricky to work with and especially to photograph. It can sometimes be quite frustrating lol.
Beautiful!
Thank you, Suzanna! 🤗
