Hello friends! The MFT Stamps October Vault Release is now available! I have two cards to share with you today that feature a number of images from this amazing release. If you are new to MFT or have been trying to complete your Birdie Brown stamp collection, you are now able to do that!

For my first card, I created a one-layer card that features images from both the Lucky Dog and Cool Cat Stamp Sets. I first stamped all of my images onto a 3.5″ x 6.5″ scrap piece of white card stock. I didn’t mask any of my images for this rough draft but just stamped my images where I wanted to place them. I then used this template to create my final draft and masked and stamped as I went to give the appearance of images being layered while adding the illusion of depth.

With a ll of my masking pieces still adhered, I used a blend of MFT Premium Dye Inks for my background (Sno Cone, Summer Splash, and Blue Beyond). Next, I splattered this blending with some water as well as some diluted opaque white paint for some added texture. Once I finished my background, I then removed my masking pieces and colored all of my images with Copic Markers.
Copic Colors Used: (From Left to Right)
- Poodle: 0, C00, C1, C3
- Cat: E50, E51, E53, E55
- Black Dog: W00, W1, W3, W5, W6
- Brown Dog: E41, E42, E43, E44
- Cat with Plant: C00, C1, E31, E23, E25, E29
- Chihuahua: W00, W1, W3, E000, E11, E13, E08
- Gray Cat: W00, W1, W3, W5

For my second card, I created a mini-slimline shadow box card that showcased images from the Magical Unicorns Stamp Set. I used the new Mini-Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics along with some Cotton Candy Card Stock to create my card base.

I added some strips of stitched clouds using dies from both the Stitched Rolling Clouds Edges and Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. My images were all stamped onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. I used the coordinating Magical Unicorns Die-namics for a precise cut when cutting them out.

Copic Colors Used:
- Unicorns: 0, W00, W1, W3
- Pinks: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66
- Greens: YG01, YG03
- Blues: B000, B01
- Oranges: YR02, YR04
- Yellows: Y13, Y15
- Purples: V000, V01

You are an amazing card maker, Rachel. Your one layer cards are always stellar and this one is no exception. You are also brave! I’d be so nervous adding the blue background because it’s so vibrant. With my luck, a mask would move! LOL But I’m glad you are brave! And the box card, pure Rachel. You are the Queen of Box cards in my mind. I adore how you colored your unicorns and created a beautiful playground for them. Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs!
Wonderful cards Rachel! I absolutely love the pet card! The background is, as always, amazing! And your coloring skills are spot on! And your unicorn card is adorable! You rock at 3D card making!
I always look forward to see your creations, they always make me feel happy. You are a lovely person and it shows in your creativity. Thanks for all the inspiration you give!!
I do love that french poodle…my aunt had one and they treated her like royalty. Pink nails and always a bow… nicely done!
