Hello friends! I am thrilled to be hopping along with Reverse Confetti for their November Release Blog Hop! I created a pair of projects to share with you today featuring some beautiful items from their latest release!

To start, I first created a single-layer snowflake card. I first trimmed a piece of pale blue card stock to slightly larger than 4.25″ x 5.5″. I then blended this piece with some Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I started my ink blending at the lower left corner with my darkest color and worked my way toward the top right corner with my lightest one. Once finished, I let the panel dry before heat embossing some gorgeous snowflakes from the new Snowflake Season Stamp Set. To do this, I used my MISTI and stamped each snowflake with some VersaMark Clear Ink. I then used some Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and some heat to emboss my snowflakes.

Lastly, I trimmed my card down to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then stamped my sentiment on the top right corner with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

For my second project, I created some fun shaker ornaments.

To start, I first die-cut 6 frames for each ornament from white card stock. I used a regular circle die to diecut some light blue card stock. I blended each circular piece with the same Distress Inks listed in the project above and shown in the links below. I heat embossed a gorgeous white snowflake on the center of each circle prior to adhering the ornament frame to the top of each circle.

Before adhering each of my ornament frame pieces together with liquid adhesive, I punched a small hole into the center top section of each piece. This allowed for room to place my string. I then adhered 5 of the frames together to form the perfect dimension for my shaker embellishment (chunky white glitter). I used a piece of clear acetate (also cut with the circle die) to keep my glitter inside my ornament and then adhered the final ornament piece on top with liquid adhesive for a clean look.

These ornaments were super easy and fun to create! They’d also make the perfect gift tag!
