Hello friends! There are only 24 hours left until the MFT January Release is available! I have two more cards to share with you today! The first features the new “Odd Couple” Stamp Set. I created. a simple card by first stamping my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers and used the coordinating “Odd Couple” Die-namics to cut them out. * All links for products will be listed at the bottom of this post.*
Next, I set these images aside and worked on my card base. To do this, I simply die-cut a piece of Smooth White Card Stock with the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and lightly blended it with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I then layered it on top of some Sweet Plaid Paper as well as a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Summer Splash Card Stock.
I die cut my tree branch from some Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and used Copic Markers to color both the leaves and the branch. I adhered all my images to my card with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for extra dimension and heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock.
Copic Colors Used:
- Branch: E40, E41, E42, E43
- Pink Leaves: RV00, RV52, RV55
- Green Leaves: G000, G00, BG23
- Cat: W00, W1, W3, C00, C1, C3
- Bird: G000, G00, BG23, BG18
For my second project, I used the new and adorable “Sweet Shop” Stamp Set illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller. I combined this set with the new Never-Ending Love Background Stamp. To start, I trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and heat embossed the Never-Ending Love Background Stamp with Clear Embossing Powder. I then blended this piece with Candied Apple, Barn Door, and Black Soot Distress Inks. Once dry, I then trimmed this piece down to 3.75″ x 5″ and layered it with some Smooth White Card Stock and a piece of Amarena Cherry Card Stock for my card base.
I stamped and colored my images in the same method that I used for the first card above and added them to my card with some 3D Foam Tape for that extra pop of dimension that I love so much.

- Reds: R14, R46, R59
- White/Grays: 0, C00, C1, C3, C5
- Skin: E0000, E000, E11, E13
- Blonde Hair: E50, E53, E55, E57
- Brown Hair: E71, E74, E77, E79

Your blending on this tiny bird is a marvel … I do adore this combination of colors and am keeping for future reference. I have some points accumulated so there are several things I want in this release. Thanks so much for your talent, and your sharing it!
