Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! One lucky winner will be chosen at random.

Here’s a look at this week’s layout! You don’t have to follow the sketch exactly but can rather flip, rotate, or switch out the shapes for images. The goal is to have fun and be creative!
For my take on this week’s sketch, I flipped the layout and created a simple card with a one-layer panel that featured my image from the BB Warmest Wishes Stamp Set.

I stamped my image onto a strip of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then stamped it again onto a piece of Gina K Designs Masking Magic Sheets. I fussy cut my image from the masking sheet and then placed it over top of my actual image so that I could ink-blend my background with some Grapesicle and Grape Jelly MFT Premium Dye Inks. I splattered my background with some diluted opaque white paint and then removed my masking piece to let it dry before coloring it with Copic Sketch Markers.

I didn’t have a die with curved corners, so I simply trimmed my panel down into a 3″ x 5″ rectangle and used a rounded corner punch to round the corners of my panel. I repeated the process for my layering panels as well.

I added a piece of purple patterned paper from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad to the 4.25″ x 5.5″ base piece of my card and stamped my sentiment prior to attaching my stamped image panel and layers with some double-sided adhesive tape.

Thank you so much, sweet friend!
She would fit into my neighborhood, snowy and very cold! Love the purple and her adorable pink boots … 😊
Aww lol. I remember those winter childhood days so well. I love the snow but I don’t miss the cold! 🥶❤️
