I created two cards to share with you today using this super cute new set! The first one is a foldable box card that fits easily into a 5″x7″ envelope. The base itself would fold to easily fit into a standard A2 sized envelope but I added a bunch of flowers that added more space. You can be as extravagant or as minimal as you like!
** For the base of my card, simply cut two pieces of Spellbinders Waterfall Card Stock to 5.25″ long and 2″ tall. I scored this piece at 3.25″ and 4.75″ to allow room for a .5″ tab on each piece to glue these pieces together. Once attached, I had a small rectangular shaped base that measure 3.25″ long, 1.5″ wide, and 2″ tall. I then simply glued a typewriter to both the front and back of my base to make it look 3D. I did not decorate the back typewriter and left it plain. **

The fun part about this card (aside from the fact that it’s 3D) is that the note in the middle can slide out for a hidden “typed” message! I used the dies in the set to create a simple sentiment that says “A Note To Say Thanks.”

All of the card stock colors that I used are listed in the links below. I also added a few white accents using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen.

For my second card, I wanted to show what this set would look like on a standard A2 sized card (4.25″ x 5.5″). I lightly blended a mix of Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks for my background and splattered this section with some diluted Opaque White Paint for some added interest.

I used 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to adhere my typewriter, giving it some extra dimension. To add my flowers, I simply used liquid adhesive and again added a few white accents with a white gel pen.

Thank you for taking the time to drop by! If you liked these cards and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!

I have looked several times at their offerings. Both the large and the small. Now there is also an embossing folder of the month. So many great offers. Love your sweet typewriters and that slide up message is so fun. TFS 😀
They have so many cool options each month! It’s kind of addictive lol. Thank you for your sweet comments, my friend! 💖
