Hello crafty friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge from MFT Stamps! I love creating projects for this challenge because it helps to stretch my creativity when it comes to my card layouts. A lot of times, it’s easy to create the same layouts over and over again that we are comfortable with. The fun in the sketch challenge is that it takes us out of our comfort zones but is still fun!
Here is a look at this week’s sketch layout. This one was a bit of a challenge for me but I ended up following the layout pretty closely by quickly cutting out some rectangular pieces with my paper trimmer. I cut 4 pieces from some Smooth White Card Stock and lightly blended them with both Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I then layered them with some pieces of Ripe Raspberry Card Stock.
I then added some images from the BB Bubble Over with Joy Stamp Set that I had stamped onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic Markers to color them and the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.
Next, I trimmed another piece Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and attached it to my A2 sized top folding card base. I stamped my sentiment in the center of my card with Black Ink and then added my rectangles with double sided adhesive. Lastly, I adhered my bunnies with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for extra dimension.
Copic Colors Used:
- Bunnies: 0, W00, W1, W3
- Pinks: RV00, RV02, RV63, RV66
- Dark Teal: G000, BG11, BG13
- Light Teal/Green: G0000, G00, G03
