Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the March 2022 Blog Hop hosted by Reverse Confetti! They’re latest release just launched and I have two fun projects to share with you.
For my first project, I created a fun, vertical A2 sized card. To start, I first stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then used the coordinating Picnic Pals Die-namics to cut them out.
For my background, I layered a few pieces of white and colored card stock. I added a pop of color to the sky and grass areas by blended with some Distress Oxide Inks. (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey for my sky and Mowed Lawn for my grass.). I also hand cut a tree canopy from one of the patterned paper pieces that are included in the Under the Umbrella paper pad.
Copic Colors Used:
- Bunnies: W00, W0, W1, W3
- Reds: R05, R35, R39
- Teals: G000, BG11, BG13
- Basket: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Tree: E40, E41, E43, E44
- Greens: G40, F43, G46
For my second card, I created a bold, Easter shaker card. For my base, I used a piece of MFT Grapesicle Card Stock and lightly blended it with MFT Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, and Boysenberry Premium Dye Inks.
Once blended, I quickly splattered the background with some diluted Opaque White Paint as well as some diluted purple watercolor paint. I then diecut my egg (with the cutouts) 6 times from white card stock. I glued 5 of the pieces together and then attached the entire piece to the center of my card base. I then added some shaker embellishments (sequins) and covered the top with a clear piece of acetate. Once finished, I then added my final frame. To finish off my card, I added a simple but elegant floral design from the Poppies Stamp Set.
