Hello friends! I have a fun card to share with you today featuring images from the new Down on the Farm Digital Stamp Set from Paper Nest Dolls. I used a couple different digital stamps that come with the set and used a free online program called Canva to easily create my layout. After I quickly resized and placed my images (seriously, Canva makes this process SO easy), I printed my layout twice. Once onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb Card Stock and the second one onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp 11″ x 8.5″ piece of masking paper.

I then fussy cut my images from the masking paper to cover the ones on my main piece. This isn’t necessary but I prefer ink blending my backgrounds instead of coloring them with Copic markers only because I feel more comfortable doing it that way. For my background, I used some MFT Sno Cone and Field Day Premium Dye Inks.

Lastly, I used Copic Markers to color my images.
Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R05, R35, R39
- Blues: B12, B16, B18
- Yellows: YR20, YR21, YR23
- Chicken Coop: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
- Chickens: 0, C00, C1, C3
- Skin: E0000, E000, E11, E13
- Hair: E50, E53, E55

This is so cute, Rachel! You’ve colored it wonderfully. I like that you used a mask to ink blend the background. That’s definitely not something I would have thought to do. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you, Jeanne! 💖 I just don’t have the patience to color my backgrounds with Copics lol. 😂 I’ve tried it before and it takes forever to get the coverage that I’m looking for.
Sooo beautiful!! Love it!!
Thank you so very much, my friend! Sending hugs! 💕
