Hello crafty friends! I absolutely love the new Spellbinders Pie Perfection Collection by Tina Smith. I had so much fun creating all of my projects today and am excited to share them with you! I have quite a few samples to share, so I’ll try to keep my post as short as possible.

For all of my pie crusts on every sample that I created, I used a piece of Spellbinders Alabaster card stock and lightly blended them with both Tea Dye and Ground Espresso Distress Inks using a Scrapbook.com ink blending tool. I made sure to keep my darker ink (Ground Espresso) closer to the edges to add some contrast. I used some patterned paper that I had laying around to quickly add some interest to my card backgrounds and Spellbinders colored card stock pieces (colors shown at bottom of post) for my solid colors.
For both cards shown above I used the fun Perfect Pies Etched Dies to create my pies. I added some cute pie embellishments using the Delicious Decorations Etched Dies.
I did end up cutting my strawberries from a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and coloring them with Copic Markers (R14, R35, R39, R89; YG01, YG07, YG17) to give them some more depth. I used a white gel pen to add my white accents.

For the two cards shown above, I combined the Sky View Pies Etched Dies along with the Dish It Up Etched Dies and Perfect Pies Sentiments. For my first card, I also used the new Bakers Box Etched Die Set to create a pie box. In my samples below, you can see how you can use this set to create cute little party favors as well.

I love how fun these die sets are!

My husband’s favorite pie is Key Lime, so I had to create a few Key Lime Pie samples as well! I embossed my Peridot Card Stock with the gorgeous Loops Embossing Folder for my A2 sized card to give my background some simple added interest.

Here I created 4 different mini pie boxes using the Bakers Box Etched Dies along with the Sky View Etched Dies and Delicious Decorations Die Set. These would make the cutest party favors!
