Hello friends! I’m back with my second post to share with you today. I have a group of cards to share with you that feature the previously retired and super popular MFT Zipper Die-namics. I wanted to try and show you how versatile this set is. You can dress your cards up or leave them super simple. The choice is yours!

My husband is an avid fisherman, so for my first card, I created a cute little fishing vest. I used a mix of Prickly Pear, Jalapeño Popper, and Chantilly Cream Card Stock pieces to create my color combo.
TIP: How did I create the pockets on all of my cards today? It was super easy! All I did was cut some rectangular pieces of card stock using my paper trimmer and then simply rounded the corners with a basic corner punch (which can be found at most craft stores or on Amazon).

I added my “pockets” with foam squares to make them look 3D. For my embellishments, I simply glued some tiny brown buttons that I had laying around in a bin and a small fly-fishing lure that I had found on Amazon. (Make sure if you use a lure that you carefully remove the hook! They sometimes have crafting lures in the scrapbooking section of craft stores that are hookless – which would probably be a better option lol). To finish off my vest, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Best Catch Ever Stamp Set.

For my second project, I made a fun construction vest. For my son’s 3rd birthday party a few years back, we had done a construction-themed birthday party and this would have been the perfect card! I used both some orange zest and silver shine card stock. I also used pieces of Cement Gray and Lemon Drop Card stock to cut my “reflective strips” from. I created pockets in the same manner that I did above and added some work tools in the pockets using the super fun Tool Time Die-namics Set.

I added a sentiment on my pocket (prior to attaching it) from the TI Work In Progress Stamp Set that recently released with the latest MFT Release.

This next project is a favorite of mine. I have two brothers that were in the Marine Corps and I love celebrating/honoring all of the men and women that serve in our armed forces. I simply combined some Camo Paper (purchased from Scrapbookpal.com) along with some MFT Kraft Card Stock.

I used some Vintage Timber Card Stock for my brown t-shirt and added the word DAD using the Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-namics. I stamped the words “MY HERO” onto the other pocket using the MSTN Super Stache Stamp Set.

Lastly, I created a fun little cardigan using both the Zipper Die-namics along with the Lined By Hand Background Stamp and some Summer Splash Card Stock and Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Ink.

I added a heart that I die cut from Cotton Candy Card Stock and some white buttons that I had in my crafty stash.

The MFT Vault Release will be available tomorrow at 10 AM EST! I have a feeling that some of these products are going to go quickly, so set your alarms if you have your heart set on something!
