Hello crafty friends! Come join me HERE on INSTAGRAM for Day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh June Release IG Hop! There is a $30 Pretty Pink Posh Gift Certificate up for grabs on each day of the hop!

For my project today, I created a fun slimline box card from scratch. I used both white and dark blue card stock for my base. When folded, this card measures at 3.5″ x 8.5″ and fits perfectly into a slimline envelope.

To start, I first stamped my images from both the new Dinosaur Friends and Dinosaur Additions Stamp Sets onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used Copic Markers to color them and their coordinating die sets to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R05, 35, R39
- Yellows: Y11, Y13, Y15, V12
- Greens: YG01, YG06, YG17, YG67
- Blues: B0000, B00, B02, B05
- Purples: BV000, BV01, BV13
- Browns: E31, E23, E25, E27

For my grass, I diecut some long strips of grass (~6.5″ long) from some light green card stock and then blended them with some Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for some added shading. Next, I splattered each piece lightly with some diluted opaque white paint for a touch of texture.
For my background sky, I blended a mix of Salty Ocean and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Inks.

I added all of my images to the inside of my card shelves with liquid adhesive. Now it’s ready for mailing!

This size I have not tried. The dinosaurs are so cute and I love that lava eruption that sticks up on the card edge. Your box cards are always so amazing. Love this one so much.
Thank you so very much, dear Anne! ❤️ It’s a fun sized box card for sure! It’s perfect when you have a bunch of images that you want to display without overcrowding everything.
