Hello crafty friends! For Day 4 of the MFT July Release Countdown, I have a simple birthday card to share with you featuring the new Happy Birthday Herd Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I absolutely love this adorable stamp set! To create my card, I stamped out two separate images from this set onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. Once I was finished coloring, I then fussy cut the images out and set them aside.

For my card base, I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then layered it with a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of teal patterned paper from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Patterned Paper Pad. I then die cut two frames using the Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics and adhered them on top of each colored image set. I then layered my these frames with some Tropical Teal Card Stock and after stamping a sentiment onto each frame, adhered them to my card base with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. Super easy and fun!
Copic Colors Used:
- Cow: 0, W00, W1, W3, W5, W7
- Pig (and beige face parts on other animals): E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13

Thank you so very much, my friend! 💖
Being a ‘kind of’ farmer here, I always love farm animals. For many years I have collected black/white cows. Almost until my curio cabinet was stuffed full. I’m past it now but I sure do love these sweet faces. Stacey makes their faces look so adorable. Plus your fabulous coloring, perfection. TFS
Awww, that’s so cute that you used to collect cow memorabilia. I love the black/white cow-theme too. And I agree! Stacey makes all of her illustrations look so adorable! ❤️
