For my first card, I created a box card from scratch. I combined it with the new Happy Santa and Pine Wreath Stamp Sets.
When folded, my card fits perfectly into an A2 sized envelope. All of my images were stamped onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out using the coordinating Happy Santa Dies.
I die cut some pine trees from green card stock using the new Pine Trees Dies Set. I painted on some “snow” on the tree edges using some diluted white acrylic paint and a paint brush. For my background, I blended a mix of Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I also added some white ink spatters to my ink blended background to create more “snow”.
Copic Colors Used:
- Skin: E0000, E000, E11
- Reds: R14, R35, R46, R89
- Black: W5, W7, W9
- White: 0, C00, C1, C3
For my second card, I used the new Pine Wreath Stamp and Dies Set. I stamped my wreath with some Pinkfresh Studio Key Lime Ink. I once again stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating Pine Wreath Dies Set to cut them out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R14, R27, R46, R89
- Greens: YG01, YG07, YG17, YG67
- Browns: E31, E23, E25, E29
I used a basic stitched rectangle die to die cut a panel and then blended the center of it lightly with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I added some dark ink spatters with some diluted brown watercolor paint and then adhered my wreath and images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape after my background dried.
