Hello crafty friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge from My Favorite Things! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

Here’s a look at this week’s challenge. You don’t have to follow the challenge exactly. You can flip and/or rotate it, and/or replace the shapes for images. For my take, I decided to flip the sketch horizontally and replace the circle with images. I created ocean waves for the two shaded rectangular sections.

I used images from the YUZU Pig Time Fun Stamp Set and stamped them onto a 5.5″ x 4.25″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I masked my images while I stamped to add dimension to my card, while still being one layer. If my card looks familiar, I created a similar one last year when this set first came out.

For my ocean waves, I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil along with some Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. All of my images were colored with Copic Markers, and I drew a rocky shoreline by hand for my lighthouse to sit on.

• Pig: E0000, E000, E00, E12
• Boat: E31, E23, E25, E29
• Reds: R14, R46, R89
• Teals: G000, BG11, BG23, BG18
• Rock: W00, W1, W3, W5
• White: 0, C00, C1, C3
