Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the first day of the MFT Stamps January Vault Release Countdown! All of the products shown today will be available this coming Tuesday, January 31st, at 10 AM EST.

I have two cards to share with you today that feature the Mason Jar Die-namics, Fresh Cut Flowers Die-namics, and the Mason Jar Labels Stamp Set.

My first card also features the Blueprints 9 Die-namics for my card base. For my jars of “water”, I die cut two mason jars from some Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and lightly blended one (using a clean dry cloth) from the base toward the top with some Something Blue and Lazy Day MFT Premium Dye Inks. I left the top part of the jar unblended so that it looked like the water stopped at a certain point instead of just looking like a blue mug. I also made sure to blend from my darkest color toward my lightest, fading to clear.

I attached the un-inked mason jar to my card, added my stems and flowers, and then adhered my ink-blended jar on top of the bottom one to give the appearance of the flowers sitting in water.

My second card was done similarly. All of my flowers were cut from MFT Card Stock and adhered with some 3d foam adhesive for a pop of dimension.

I also saw the reel and saved it. It was so cool…. Love the effect.
I love using a mason jar for flowers. The blending on vellum really works so well! I need to get the jar labels set. I love these vault openings. Always find something! TFS job well done…
