I created some fun birthday shaker gift tags today using the newly released Birthday Sentiments Stamp and Die Set. I also added some images from the Wish and Birthday Signs Stamp Sets. All of my images were stamped onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

It’s super easy to make your own tags by following the steps below!

You’ll need to die cut 6 of the tag frames from the Birthday Sentiments Die Set. You can use whatever color(s) you want. One of these frames will be used for the top of the tag, so you can use a different color for that as well. You will also need a circle die cut (any basic circle die should work as long as it covers the bag of the frame without covering the hole for the string). Using this same circle die, also cut a piece of clear acetate for the front of the card. Lastly, have some fun images on hand to add to the front of the tag.

Next, glue 5 of the tag frames together and set one aside for the top of the tag that will be used after you add your embellishments and acetate.

Attach your half moon sized piece with liquid adhesive (can be colored card stock, ink-blended, or just plain white) and place your embellishments on top. I used some Pretty Pink Posh 3MM Sparkling Clear Sequins.

The next step is to adhere your clear, circular piece of acetate to the front of the tag with liquid adhesive. Next, stamp your sentiment to the top frame die cut as well as the “to” and “from” sentiments on the back of the tag. It’s best to add these sentiments before you adhere them to your tag (which I had forgotten for the back piece, but thankfully, it worked out lol).

Lastly, adhered your top tag frame and then add your images with some 3d foam adhesive tape/squares for a pop of dimension.

You can then add your tags to a gift or even adhere it to the front of a card! I love the bold size of these tags and the font of the sentiment set.

I hope you enjoyed my tags today! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! If you liked these gift tags and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my INSTAGRAM feed! Wishing you all a lovely day!

I am loving these shaker tags! So much fun!
These are adorable, Rachel. I love the bright colors. I also like how you use extras of the die cut instead of foam to get your dimension for the shaker. Smart thinking! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day. Crafty hugs!
