Hello crafty friends! I have a fun, but simple birthday card to share with you today featuring the Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Balloons and Birthday Signs Stamp Sets. I absolutely adore the birthday balloons stamp set because it gives you realistic-looking balloons without too much work. There is a solid ballon for stamping as well as patterned ones for adding some fun textures and designs.
For my balloons, I stamped the outline onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and first colored them quickly with some Copic Markers. Next, I then stamped over each ballon with some Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink using my MISTI for easy placement.

I also stamped my alligator image with the same black ink, colored it with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating die sets to easily cut everything out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Greens: G40, G43, G46
- Blues: B12, B16, B18
- Reds: R14, R46, R89
- White: 0, C00, C1, C3
I then created my card background by quickly blending some Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of smooth white card stock. I started with my darker color (Salty Ocean) at the lower right corner and worked my way diagonally up toward my lighter color (Tumbled Glass). I spattered this blending with some water first to give it some texture, blotted it dry with a paper towel, and then added some diluted opaque white ink spatters as well. Once dry, I trimmed this piece down to 4″ x 5.25″ to get rid of any harsh ink stains on the sides of my card stock.
Next, I stamped my sentiment and adhered this piece to a top-folding, A2 sized card base. Lastly, I adhered my images with some 3D foam adhesive tape for extra dimension.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my INSTAGRAM feed! Wishing you all a lovely day!
