Hello crafty friends! Come hop along with me on Instagram today for a chance to win some prizes from Heffy Doodle! I have a fun interactive box card to share with you featuring the newly released Be Hoppy Clear Stamps Set. Details can be found below!

To start, I first created my box card base using a scoring board, paper trimmer, and some liquid adhesive. If you are looking for a box card base similar to mine, My Favorite Things has the Outside the Box Die-namics, which is very similar.

In order to create my interactive mechanism, I used a circle punch on the back pieces of my box card so that my slider pull tab wouldn’t stick out of the bottom of the card.

Next, I sliced two vertical strips out of my ink-blended piece so that I could add a strip of plastic into them. For my plastic, I simply cut a strip of a sandwich bag. If you look at the third picture above (bottom left), you can see that I adhered my plastic strip together on the back with 1/4″ wide double-sided tape. I then added my strip that I had trimmed with a paper trimmer to about 3.75″ tall by .75″ wide. I used a small stapler to attach this to my plastic strip on the back of my card.

Once the reverse sliding mechanism was attached, I then adhered this ink blended piece to my card base with some double sided tape. I decided not to use foam tape here because my slider was able to slide without it, but you can if you want to. Lastly, I added my inner shelves to which I adhered my grass and water pieces. For my grassy hills, I used the newly released Freshly Cut Grass Dies and for the water, I used one of the wavy dies from the previously released Breaking Waves Border Dies Set.

My card folds perfectly to fit into a standard A2 sized envelope.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my INSTAGRAM feed! Wishing you all a lovely day!
